Broadway in New Orleans: Saenger Theater 2013-2014

 

The Saenger Theater in New Orleans opened its doors to a completely restored theater for the first time since Hurricane Katrina with a wonderful Broadway in New Orleans season beginning in October 2013.  My husband and I attended five of the musicals of this season and enjoyed each one.  It felt like being on Broadway in New York only better because it was in New Orleans. 

The inside of the Saenger has been beautifully restored.  We had been to the Saenger before Hurricane Katrina and it continues its tradition of being a magical experience.
